Hi Carlee, You can just leave them out with no adjustments and bake as directed or replace with another vegetable (which you could sauté) like zucchini or summer squash.

I wanted to make this, but my family is not a fan of mushrooms. Would you suggest that I replace the mushrooms with another ingredient or just leave it out?

My family absolutely loves it. I added onions to the mushrooms and spinach. This will definitely be one of our favorites, thank you !!!

I followed the directions and thought twice about pricking the crust with a fork to dock it. As I suspected, some of the custard went through the little holes. I was worried it would be ruined, but went ahead and baked it anyway. To my surprise, it turned out fine. I might skip the 2nd step in blind baking process next time. Delicious end product!

It took only 41 minutes to bake at 350 degrees. Delicious!

Hi Shirley, you can try using dairy-free milk and a cheese alternative, but we’re unsure of the exact results. The quiche won’t be nearly as creamy. Note that our pie crust recipes also have dairy in them, too, so you’ll want to find a dairy-free recipe instead.
