September 2020 Sally’s Baking Challenge Recipe: Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread
I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS… we had over 2,000 participants in September, the MOST we’ve ever had since I launched Sally’s Baking Challenge 3 years ago. We received dozens of entry emails every day and the wonderful reviews on this recipe were continuously rolling in. Thank you so much for taking the time to enter this baking challenge!

Such a quick and versatile recipe. It’s very easy to add a couple things to change it up. I especially like adding dried cranberries and pecans to the filling and then drizzling warm caramel sauce on top. Delicious!

I’m not sure video games are your thing, but baked apples feature in the opening minutes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Of course, you make baked apples in the game by just throwing apples at an open flame, so I’m excited to try doing it for real!
This was my first ever baking challenge and I’ve already made it twice! I didn’t actually submit an email, just tagged SBA on Instagram but regardless thank you sooo much for the recipe! Def a keeper it’s super yumm I loved it w coffee!! After I posted it my sis in law and a sons friend came by just to sample it!! Next up I think for me is an old baking challenge…the apple cider donuts, I’ve never made them before!

The Cinnamon Swirl Bread was a perfect choice for our Family Zoom Baking in September. Three sisters, two cousins, one mom, all in different cities-all adding their own twist on the recipes twice a month.

Sally this recipe was amazing. I made it (the third time) for my dads birthday and he had 3/4 of that loaf gone in minutes, lol. Thank you for all of your hard work!!
